Luke Butler, Senior Director, Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs

Luke Butler is Senior Director for Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs for Entrepreneurs. In this role he leads the Philadelphia operations and programming for LIFT Labs whose mission is to help startups in media, entertainment and connectivity to work with and access the resources of Comcast NBCUniversal. Previously Luke led strategy and operations at Curalate, a fast-growing marketing technology company headquartered in Philadelphia with offices in New York City, Seattle and London. Prior to joining Curalate he served in Philadelphia city government as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Mayor, Special Assistant to the Mayor, Deputy Press Secretary and Speechwriter to the Mayor. Luke has a Bachelor's Degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied as a Thouron Fellow. He serves on the boards of Philly Startup Leaders and Live Connections, a music education non-profit based in Philadelphia, and on the GreenLight Fund’s Selection Advisory Council. Originally from the North East of England, Luke worked in politics in London before relocating to the United States in 2006. He is a long-suffering supporter of Newcastle United Football Club and a devotee of the Newport Folk Festival.

Tyler Bushnell, Polycade

Tyler is the CEO and co-founder of Polycade, a modern arcade console designed for in-person social gaming. Polycade launched with a successful crowdfunding campaign, and more recently participated in the Techstars accelerator in partnership with Comcast NBC Universal. Tyler previously wrote games for uWink Inc, and has built front to back end online advertising systems. Tyler enjoys getting groups together to have fun playing board games, lawn games, and video games.

Danish Dhamani, Orai

Danish Dhamani is co-founder and CEO of Orai, an artificial intelligence speech coach that helps professionals become more effective and confident communicators (featured in FastCompany, Techcrunch and Wired). Danish believes that improving a team's communication skills has the potential to unleash their hidden innovation. Jon Gosier, Southbox

Jon Gosier is the Founder of Southbox, a privately held Philadelphia-based investment fund focused on tech and media. Beyond that, he's spent over a decade building technology companies to acquisition with a particular focus on data and analytics. Credited with designing the 'new business model for the music industry' by providing artists like Camila Cabello, Madonna, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Shakira, Rihanna, Jay-Z, and other entertainers with new ways of monetizing their online audiences at his former company Audigent. Best known for working in crisis response and counter-intelligence in East Africa. While living in Uganda co-founded various organizations in Africa, including a network of tech innovation hubs that now reaches 90+ cities across the continent. Also founded Appfrica, a tech consultancy that serviced the continent and that went on to stimulate over $80M in new economic activity. Former Director at Ushahidi, which is estimated to have reached more than 25 million people with its open source products. Work in these areas was lauded by The White House in 2010, 2012, and 2013 and culminated in a 2014 TED Talk.

Eve Ackerley, Jenzy

Eve Ackerley is the co-founder of Jenzy, a mobile app that makes it easy to buy perfectly fitting shoes for young kids online. She leads Jenzy's tech team and was named one of Total Retail's 2018 Game Changers. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2013, she moved to rural Yunnan, China and taught English at a public elementary school for two years where she met her co-founder, Carolyn.
