With volatile markets, investors tightening their belts, and the venture capital community moving to a later stage, where does early-stage capital come from? This panel featuring seasoned early-stage investors will explore the evolution of the capital continuum and discuss what’s happening to capital in the tightening market. While the VC industry has evolved, new companies face the same challenge of acquiring incremental capital early in the commercialization lifecycle to vet business models before seeking an "A round" from the traditional VC marketplace. Where do angels, venture capital, and private equity currently sit in the capital continuum? Where are the gaps in the changing market? We’ll answer these questions, talk about trends, and alternative avenues for early-stage funding.
