In this one-on-one dialogue, Digital Equity leaders Jonathan Latko and Andy Stutzman are sharing their views of the current digital equity landscape and describing how universities, as anchor institutions, can have a positive impact in the communities and neighborhoods they reside in.

Jonathan Latko is the Executive Director of Finance and Business Administration for Information Technology Services at Temple University. Andy Stutzman is the Project Director for Civic Technology at Drexel University’s ExCITe Center. Both innovative leaders serve on the board for the Technology Learning Collaborative, a digital equity professional development coalition that serves the Philadelphia area.

Andy Stutzman

Andy Stutzman is a technologist with a passion for community engagement and digital equity. As the Project Director for Civic Technology at Drexel University’s ExCITe Center, he works to connect his expertise to the digital and technical needs of local community organizations and programs. Andy has Masters in Computer Information Science and has worked his entire career in higher education. Starting at Drexel University in 2012, Andy now manages a Digital Navigator program that assists community members with Internet access, technical support, access to computers, and training. Andy currently serves as the Board Chair of the Technology Learning Collaborative which provides professional development and resources to professionals and organizations supporting digital inclusion and literacy programs.

Jonathan F Latko, MBA

Jonathan serves as the Executive Director of Finance and Business Administration for Temple University’s Information Technology Services.

He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Dickinson College and a M.B.A. from Temple's Fox School of Business with plans to finish his terminal degree in higher education leadership in the near future. As a husband and a father of four children, he still finds time to remain active in the community serving leadership roles on various boards and organizations that focus on improving the social, economic, and environmental challenges that exist in our communities. Temple Tech for Philly is maturing into the Digital Equity Center of Temple University to take the next level approach of addressing digital equity in our community.
